Pretend

Upon the request I mean command of Valerie Mah, I'm here to blog about yesterday's meet-up to make a t-shirt (technically) for Huang and personally give it to him..

So we went to Bishan for lunch at Subway, then set off in search of a plain t-shirt we could decorate (hopefully a gay one). We saw a black and pink zebra-print shirt which would very well make Huang look like an underworld chief governing the Bishan turf :) At Giordano, we saw the shirts going at 3 for $15, and I quote Valerie:
"We can buy the white one first, the green one for Christmas, and the red one for Chinese New Year!"
The salesperson was so annoyed that we were pointing and laughing (really loudly) at the shirts hahahaha. Eventually we got a pack of 2 t-shirts (supposedly innerwear) from BHG and stunningly smart Valerie tried to walk away without paying. AMAZING RIGHT. Reminds me of the time we had fish bee hoon opposite school and simply walked away without paying. I swear we really forgot, so we went back to foot our bill the next day. Omg I regret doing that, haha!

So anyway, we went to Bishan library to start decorating the shirt, for the lack of a better alternative (that was free) and also thinking that it'd be deserted, seeing that O's and A's are over. We waited for some time and finally got into a booth (or a hole in the wall, whatever you may call it). The library was quite quiet, and Valerie's spray-gun made whirring noises that made us sound like we were drilling holes into the floor or mowing a lawn :D A librarian walked by and started at us for a while, and then she took the lift down. A while later, we heard an announcement that went something like, "Attention all library users. Please refrain from disturbing the peace and cooperate with the staff or you will have to leave the library, thank you." Hahaha what a loser library.
If you're wondering, the dotted lines are like perforations. Huang likes to cut off the sleeves of his shirt, so we thought of this brilliant idea :D Hope"nigger angel"- hopefully Huang gets the joke
Huang didn't show up so Clarence was training alone, what a sad life. I didn't want to risk a hefty phone bill by calling Huang with my cell just in case he'd gone back to China so we called him using Valerie's phone and SHIT he said he was at home. Hahahaha, we were waiting for absolutely nothing! Valerie didn't see Will, but we saw Gabriel Gan (OMG we discovered that his Facebook picture is of him in a bikini, I'm bloody serious, it's him!) and Kang Wei. Linghan wasn't there either =/
Went home after that, reminiscing the past as we walked around in the sports hall. I miss training there!

3 looked really cute today, and Bakuz, HE WAS WEARING A CHECKED SHIRT hahahaha. He was shocked that I really gave him the containers of whey protein in the Inner affair shopping bag (from B, haha), and then looked really gay carrying it around (a few guys stared at him). We got lost in Suntec City, ending up in this airport-terminal-looking place and it was so funny because he once commented that due to our poor sense of direction, we could easily end up in China :) I led him to the elevator and when we got in, we realised that there was no button for the third floor!! I think my sense of direction deteriorates whenever I'm with him because I pay even less attention to my surroundings.. Heh.

I totally embarrassed myself when we were eating. I put too much wasabi on this stupid cuttlefish-like thingum that couldn't be chewed and nearly spat in his face. I wanted to burrow into the ground and die for that moment and in the immediate ones that followed. At least he nicely insisted that it was more "funny" than anything. But still, omg, that's the worst moment of my life, I swear. He wanted to barbecue marshmallows, so he went to get the paper-bowl soup stove and we stuck marshmallows directly into the fire. They actually caught fire and 3 dunked it into the soup to extinguish it -.- We lighted a few marshmallows, most of which left congealed globs on the side of the stove-thingum. And yes, I did drink the soup in the end, and he ate most of the seafood in it. He also ate a marshmallow he'd steeped in the soup, disgusting fellow. Haha!

He asked where I wanted to go after that, and I suggested Orchard so that I could take a photo of him standing in front of the huge tree at Paragon. As usual, there was a lot of U-turning and unnecessary walking at Orchard. Oh, we went into the House of Condoms. With him carrying an "inneraffair" shopping bag and me following him, it couldn't have looked more wrong. The place was unnerving. Surprisingly, we didn't get booted. We went to the tree at Ngee Ann City instead, because the one at Paragon was surrounded by velvet ropes. He didn't want to take a picture alone, so..

He looks damn gay here, doesn't he.

He suggested watching The Coffin so we caught the 9.40 one. I'd never watched a worse horror movie. The movie producers seemed like they couldn't decide on whether they wanted to make a horror or romance movie. There were so many bloody cheesey lines, I was cringing the whole time: "The wheel keeps spinning." (Wtf?) Not to mention the horrible, totally random kissing/sex scenes that made me feel so uncomfortable =(

The movie ended at 11pm and he didn't send me home!! Before I got off at my stop, he told me to call him when I got home. I wanted to give him a hug but I couldn't do that in public. Feeling absolutely pissed off that he had once again failed to be a man, I called Love Guru and started complaining. I didn't text him when I got home, but he texted me, asking if I'd gotten home safely. So I said yes, and that I was acutely embarrassed today.

And the shit begins. Hold on to your butts(if you've ever watched Cow and Chicken, you'll get this)!

Abridged:

"I had more embarrassing moments, just that you don't know."
"Do tell."
"Well, when we were walking, my hand touched or brushed yours a couple of times, I had to bloody fight off the urge to hold it, then when you weren't looking, I'd literally punch myself. Haha :)"
"Omg you idiot. So why didn't you do it?"
"No, I can't just do it like that :) I mean what if you let go? I think I'd die there on the spot. Lol."
"Couldn't you tell I was waiting for you to do it, you idiot." [LOVE GURU SUGGESTED I SAY THIS, HAHA]
"Oh come on, it's not my fault I missed the signal. Make it more obvious next time okay:) Well, if it helps, I really regret not doing it, lol."

I asked if he had any more moments of idiocy, and he said,
"In the cinema. I was thinking if I should ask you if you were cold and then pull some cliche hand holding move on you:)"
And then I told him my intention to give him a hug.
"I think we should be more open next time:)"

Oh oh,
"My dad busted my ass for not paying the bill, holding your hand and not walking you home. Lol."

He said he'd wanted to walk me home, but didn't, because he idiotically assumed I would think he's some kind of freak.

Love Guru: He was *trying* to be a man.
Me: But he failed.

Oh well. Let's see what happens on 8th December. THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP, GURU. You are really the best!

Now and dreams we run

What we had planned to do:
1. Buy chicks from this marketplace that I remember sold them, but had burned down a few years ago. ("I'm sure they would rebuilt it and not left it a smoking black hole in the ground right!" "I bet it's now a patch of grass or a cemetery.")
2. Then bring them to Fort Canning Park and make them fly by attaching them to helium-filled balloons.
3. Meant to be a nice, rather glamorous event.

What happened: was unglam to the max.

1. Started at 8AM at Ang Mo Kio Hub. When we were waiting for bus 269 and just talking, I could feel myself blushing like crazy (my face was burning like a furnace, must've been totally obvious). But it soon subsided and then we began planning what to do ("Where do we get helium balloons?" "Carnivals." "Where?" "Carnivals that open at 9 in the morning. Or pasar malams." "In the morning." "Yeah.").
The bus came, and we were busy looking out for Yio Chu Kang CC. Saw it, was about to push the button, and then we exploded into laughter when we realised that there was a huge patch of grass behind the bus stop. Where the bloody marketplace used to be. We were like WTF!! How unlucky were we! So we missed that stop and alighted 2 stops later, not knowing what to do from there.

2. I had the sensible idea to cross the road and take the bus back to Ang Mo Kio, but we soon realised only bloody 268 was listed there. So we had to continue walking to find the next bus stop ("I'm sure if we continue walking we'll find the next bus stop with 269 in a while." "Yeah, and the next bus stop is at that patch of grass."). Haha!

So we continued walking until we saw this hospital, and we went in because I needed to take a piss. I saw a lot of people milling around in the lobby so I was like, "Is that a tour group?" "A tour group in a hospital?!" And guess what, it WAS a bloody tour group, or something like that. A group of volunteers meddling with balloons. Haha. Wtf.

3. I'm a bit lazy to recount everything, so in a nutshell, after a lot of screw-ups, we wound up at McRitchie, got lost, walked about 10km (according to the trail posts). Order of photos is screwed up.

Perfect spot for a picnic with gymmies! :D:D:D:D:D:D
Nearly!!
Hoho, guess who.
After trekking for nearly an hour.. I think this is where we started. It's the ideal place to kill/rape someone because you're totally cut off from all marks of civilisation and there are only trees surrounding you. But we didn't do anything illicit!
Another route altogether.
:D
This was the craziest route, the mud was squishy and our feet got wet. We met quite a lot of hiking groups along the way, and their sensible attire and footware made me feel so stupid that we were wearing bloody slippers, and looking completely loserish, haha.
MONKEYS!
"What's that supposed to be?"
"I think it's supposed to be a dam of some sort. But it's obviously screwed up now, just like this whole place. Go stand on one, I'll take a picture of you."
-.-

And finally, (on msn)

Me:
by the way, was i very bimbotic today. honestly.
3:
no, you were excellent(:
(He meant behaviour. Hahaha.)

But you know, I'm quite worried! There are some similarities between my outing with Andrew and with 3.

1. Both occurred on a Saturday.
2. I had my hair tied up in the same way. Fringe was bloody of the same length on both occasions.
3. There was a lot of unnecessary travelling involved.

Omg don't let this one be screwed up. We're going to either Fort Canning Park (for real, this time) or MacRitchie again (and finally make it to the bloody treetop walk) when I get back from Japan. Do you think a morning or an evening thing would be better?

*

We went back to take 315 to school, and on the way back to school we passed by BLOCK 333. Hahahahaha! The ironies of life once again.
Back at school- Gim Hua saw 3 and I walking in together and she gave us "the look". Haha! In the canteen 3 heard Jason calling to him, so we parted without saying bye (lol) and I went for lunch with Mahxim! I'm really really sorry I missed your performance, the stupid path was seriously bloody long and there was no way we could have gotten out any faster. Sorry :(

Then again, another reason why today was excellent is that I finally got to spend time with Val.Mah (despite missing her perfomance, oopsie..) :D Gim Hua wanted to detain Valerie at the booth until 5.30, so to burn time, we visited the booths, grabbing freebies to give Huang lao shi when we go to Bishan to see him next week. We stole a gay, purple balloon and wrote random Huang quotes on it:
"人家减肥,zhao老师却捡肥?!"
"我们会代表新加坡-做观众"
And our messages:
黄老师,我们 love you, muacks. (absolute gayness!)
我们会永远记得你是如何用拖鞋磨死蜘蛛
马心想谢谢你当她在跳马上ka住的时候,你勇敢地去救她 (the time Mah got stuck doing vault was awesome :D and my grammar is a bit screwed in this sentence but I don't know how to rectify it)

(Valerie please take a photo of the balloon and send it to me!)

We collected (for Huang):
-A packet of raisins
-A sweet
-A super gay hot pink pencil with a hot pink giraffe attached to the top
-A Zhonghua PostIt pad
-An ice cream stick from CLDDS with a pink butterfly card that says 欢迎来到中华
-A small pink bottle with a rifle bullet-thingee inside

Valerie was supposed to stay at the booth the whole time, but twice we went across the street :D First to have lunch, and then barely an hour later to get beancurd because I was still hungry. We were making our rounds for the 15875th time and we found Gim Hua right in front of us, walking towards the canteen along the corridor outside the staff room(her back was towards us, obviously) and laughing crazily, we ran back to the canteen from the other side (the ampitheatre side) and successfully overtook her but she didn't go to the canteen after all -.- But it was still hilarious :D

Haven't spent time with Mahxim like this in a loooong time, so today was just made more awesome :)

Going out with 3 tomorrow, just us alone, omg. Wish me luck. We're probably going to get lost in ang mo kio in our search for animals because he wants to kill them. Shit.

Keep your fancy free

11 Nov

Right after comb science mcq, Domtan and I met up with Bakus and Val, then off we went to the market to jostle with the aunties and bought tons of stuff. Took the bus to Domtan's house and began preparing the soup and food :D

Pork bones courtesy of Bakus and her mom! Disgusting but they went into the soup anyway :(
I'm actually slicing chicken! The soup people.
Val and I were just chillin' in a corner busy being useless, haha.
Val bravely tossing the fish

For lunch we had popiah party, but because Domtan's grandma and aunt were there I didn't think it was polite to be snapping pics, so no photos of the yummy popiah =/ After lunch we went to the basement and played pool. Retarded stuff happened in there, then we got bored after a few games. Went upstairs to Domtan's room to play Scrabble ("Inagay", hahahaha! In-a-gay, geddit?) and got addicted to Monopoly :D Hilarious shit.

Steamboat time!
Our star domestic help of the day, washing the floor :DD
We found a single mushroom in the bag of assorted veg, so we thought we'd just drop it into the soup since it had nowhere else to go :)
Domtan: Truncated (just kidding)
Domtan did most of the ladling
We weren't very happy initially because we had to eat the colossal leaves of cabbage that demanded superhuman jaws to chew. Thanks to Val who forgot to cut up the cabbage and Domtan who asked for cabbage in the first place. Omg, the mounds of cabbage were a nightmare. There was way too much tofu.

See the tray of red meat slices? Shabu shabu beef that was seriously amazing, and when we thanked Domtan's dad for it, he said, "Oh no, I chopped up the neighbour's cow." Haha! We went to take a walk around in the estate, eating strawberries, and then

Domtan: I'll show you guys the biggest house here.
[we stop and gape for a bit at it at Jansen Rd, then we move on]
Val: So where's the biggest house?
-.-
Val looks hilarious here (haha, the arm)
:D Can't wait for the next gathering! PJ party at Domtan's house (we're NOT inviting 3 ok) ??!!

More about 3

I was going through all the letter from B, trying to gather clues about what I was doing in mid-August, because that was when 3 said he'd started taking a liking to me. It was futile, so I went to my archives and I found something deathly ironic that I wrote on 25 August (mid-August):

To answer some questions,
I have had times when I hated myself for being inadequate, inferior, and everything I want to be but am not.
I have had times when I felt so furious with the world for not allowing me to have what I want, and these things are always beyond my grasp.
I have had times when I am completely livid with certain people for what has/have been bestowed upon them. Was there some contract drawn up with destiny that ensured you fell heir to a certain something or someone that I was comepletely left out of? Because you know, it's bloody unfair.
It was in mid-August that I started getting quite jealous of P being a close friend to 3. Omg, irony owns my life.

Latest update: 3 now thinks I'm going to ask him to be my boyfriend any moment now. I'll definitely be back tonight!!
